Privacy
AnonStream lets you share a live screen and chat, with no account. This page says who is responsible for your information, what the site uses, and how to ask about it.
Who is responsible
The controller is the operator of anonstream.ovh. AnonStream is operated from Poland, so the GDPR applies. To ask about your information, use the contact form.
What we use, and why
Running the site
We process technical data the site needs in order to run, to protect it from abuse, and to enforce moderation. If you report a stream, we keep that report so it can be reviewed.
Legal basis: legitimate interest in operating the site and dealing with misuse.
Saved in this browser
This browser stores what a stream needs to stay open, a few local choices (microphone, playback volume, and that you closed the storage notice), and, only after an operator signs in, that sign-in. A value that only keeps the current tab’s stream open is dropped when you close the tab. The microphone, volume, and notice choices stay on this device until you clear them.
Legal basis: this storage is strictly necessary to provide the site. It is not used for advertising.
Visit statistics
We collect privacy-friendly, cookieless aggregate visit statistics. We do not set a cookie for this, and we do not track you across other sites. Counts may note that a stream started or ended, that someone joined, or that a chat or contact message was sent. Those counts do not include the message itself or a stream link. Statistics are processed in the EU. Legal basis: legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used.
Contact messages
If you use the contact form, we keep the message so we can answer it. You can add a name and an email if you want a reply. A copyright or illegal-content notice needs your name, an email, and the stream link, or we cannot look into it.
Legal basis: legitimate interest in answering what you send and in handling a notice about the site.
Chat and streams you publish
If you start a stream, the live picture is sent to people who open your link while the stream is open. Your microphone is included if you turn it on. Chat messages are shown in that room with the nickname in use. A viewer is given a nickname and can change it.
Legal basis: legitimate interest in showing the stream and chat you chose to publish.
What we do not do
We do not sell information. We do not show advertising. We do not use third-party trackers.
How long we keep it
We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, and then we delete it.
Your rights
You can ask for access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, or portability. Use the contact form. You can also complain to the Polish supervisory authority, Prezes UODO, at uodo.gov.pl.
Changes
We may update this policy.
